Pet-Friendly Activities Near Chroma Cambridge
Our hometown of Cambridge is known for it’s progressively pet-friendly accommodations. We believe in freedom for pets. Cantabrigians even enjoy certain perks, such as special off-leash privileges in park areas where non-residents are required to keep their beasts on a leash. To help you and Fido make the most of the town, we explored some pet-friendly activities near Chroma Cambridge for you and your furry friend to enjoy.
Danehy Off-Leash Dog Park
This puppy freedom center features benches, drinking water, mutt mitt dispensers and even a separate area for small dogs. At Danehy Park, you can relax on a park bench and make small talk with other single pet-owners while your dog runs 90 laps around the enclosed area.
Fresh Pond Reservation
Your Cambridge resident dog license will come in handy ($8/year for a neutered dog) at Fresh Pond Reservation. Your superior status as a bonafide Cantabrigian will be evident as your pet frolics freely about the park while all the non-residents gaze with envy, dragging their sad pups around by leash. You can obtain your special Cambridge Puppy Freedom Pass Here.
When you and Fido have had enough of the Fresh Pond Reservation, you can head up to the Minuteman Bikeway. This rail-trail circles around Cambridge’s Fresh Pond and cuts up north towards Medford. You can take the 10-mile trail all the way up to Bedford if you so desire.
